The insurance system is our society’s primary risk governance tool. The linkages between the insurance system, the global economy and the Earth system, with one embedded in the next is highlighted in the mapping processes of the work. I developed the policy in response to Ann Finegan’s performance mapping renewables and non-renewables for each of Australia’s States and Territories. Ann performs as a technocrat endlessly accumulating data and also Mr Brainwash in Banksy’s Exit Through the Giftshop, who has no skills to find a meaningful form.
