My art research focusses on three distinct areas: community involvement and inclusiveness, extension of mediums used and environmental sensitivity.

During my ten years of art practice I have been particularly interested in creating work outside the gallery that provides a context for exploring issues relevant to that area whilst working with particular groups of people experiencing disadvantage.

This interest has led to small and large scale participatory public art works and performances, and documentation projects of these. These projects have received local, state and/or federal funding.
