Draft brainstorming concepts

A walkway over the roundabout could function as a gathering space (possibly designed like a tree or tree canopy) and provide access to the iconic background to promote Sydney’s/ Australia’s involvement in protest action.

A metal cut-out leaf design flooring could incorporate a history of leaf evolution to link to the botanical garden’s illustration of changing yet enduring continuity, which ties to the rationale for this proposal. This is the idea of the importance of continuing to find and enact ways to gather and act for commoning and recommoning. The idea of community/society can be incorporated into the design through inclusion of partner names and logos / heart theme.

Possible placement for the design as suitable gathering area if City of Sydney managed land.
